Skinny Life: The Secret to Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Fitness by Crystal Dwyer Hansen
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
“The real skinny about how to be naturally thin, fit, and healthy! Are you ready to change the story of your life? Through her Skinny Life® program, life coach Crystal Hansen has been changing lives around the world with the bottom-line truth about weight loss and a healthy lifestyle. It’s not a diet-diets don’t work. It’s not a workout-exercise regimes fall by the wayside. The real key to changing your body-and your life–is changing your mind.”
Skinny Life by Crystal Dwyer Hansen – I’m not sure how I feel about this book. On one hand, it was a good book with solid, practical tools to assist in understanding the bottom line truths about weight loss.
The book is divided into three separate areas of study:
•The Truth About Weight Issues
•A New Way of Looking At Weight and You
•Life As The New You
On the other hand, I found it a bit “more of the same”. I was taken back a bit by the “cliché’s” of “toolboxes” and “affirmations”, “Thief foods” vs. “Saint Foods”. That was a turnoff for me.
This author is well-respected as an expert in her field of wellness and nutrition and for that reason, some or many will find her book immensely helpful.
