I was excited for the chance to read this book, Fervent Prayer- A Woman’s Battle Plan to Serious, Specific and Strategic Prayer by Priscilla Shirer, especially after seeing The War Room movie. I was not disappointed! This is a marvelous book for anyone wanting to take their prayer life to the “next level”. I was so totally inspired by this book.

Probably the part that I “enjoyed” most was the opening to each chapter, where she starts… “If I were your enemy, I would… “ That was eye-opening. And oh she was so right. More than once, I found my life there.

This is not a book that you read once and relegate to the bookshelf… oh no, do not cheat yourself, this is a book that requires at least two reads, and then perhaps another with an in-depth study of the ten areas of your life that need a directed and definite prayer.
